Remodels & Restorations
Creating new uses for old buildings is often more complex than new construction and is of particular interest to Robert Johnson. Older home restorations have captured his attention as completely as the larger projects. Robert Johnson has been responsible for projects ranging in size from small house remodeling to the addition of the three top floors of the 1930’s San Diego County Administration Building, the rehab of a historic 1935 Exposition Building in San Diego for use as an aerospace museum, the Cannon Beach Historical Museum, updating of 1940’s Navy buildings for educational and vocational training, and expansion of existing tree cooler for the Oregon Department of Forestry.
